We have had quite an eventful 2009. The bakery extension is now complete, we have developed several new products, won awards and developed our export market.

Wales True Taste Food & Drink Awards

Many of our customers may not be aware that we have been finalists for the past 3 years at these awards.

  • 2007 1st prize for our Christmas mince pies
  • 2008 1st prize for our steak pie, steak & ale pie and Christmas mince pie
  • 2009 bronze award for our steak & stilton pie

It was announced at the 2009 event, that over 900 entries were received for the awards so we were very proud to be nominated as a finalist and to win a bronze award.

Quarterly Brochure

We are in the process of producing a quarterly freezebake brochure to show how active our product development department are. It will include any current offers and the first issue will be launched at the beginning of February. This will be available to all customers on our mailing list. Maybe a good opportunity to make sure we have up to date contact details.

Packaging

The team are in the process of updating the product packaging we will keep you informed as the process evolves. We should have some ideas to show you soon.

A Taste of Britain – Algarve, Portugal

Kelvin and Dave will be attending this food event on the 9th & 10th February 2010. The Algarve, a well known tourist destination in Portugal, is home to an established and active expat community.

Alimentaria 2010

Alimentaria is the most important international food and beverage exhibition in Spain and is being held in Barcelona between the 22nd - 26th March, 2010. We are pleased to be attending supported by IBW on the Wales True Taste Stand.
