The Standard is intended to provide organisations with the elements of an effective environmental management system, which is appropriate to the nature and scale of their activities and operations.

Positive About Disabled People
Lewis Pies Limited was awarded the Disability Symbol in 2003. This symbol is a recognition given by Jobcentre Plus to employers who have agreed to meet five commitments regarding the recruitment, employment, retention and career development of disabled people.
C.I.E.H. Accredited Training Centre
The company has been registered training centre since 1999. They have on site two registered trainers, who originally trained in house, but now offer the service to other clients. ‘LPOS Training’ are listed as trainers with the local environmental health department. Courses include, new level 2 awards in food safety and the new level 3 awards in food safety
