Feeling festive yet? It might be October, but its Mince Pie Season here at Lewis Pies. Apparently, you agree, as around 4,000 sets (and counting) have been pre-ordered so far through QVC. If that’s not enough to convince you that our mince pies are worth a try, then keep reading…
Our very own Wilfred Lewis has been appearing on your TV screens for some time now to show off our quality products. He’s been bringing you superb items, from our 12 Premium Assorted Welsh Steak Pies to our delicious Beef & Chicken Sausage Rolls. But its time for these savoury stars to move over, and make some room for dessert.
If you don’t know, our mince pies are not the average kind. We go the extra mile to make the sort of festive desert that can really get the neighbours talking. Our mince pies have a sweet pastry case with several layers of yumminess. Our mincemeat is infused with Shirgar Welsh brandy butter, followed by a layer of soft frangipane, then topped with a cinnamon and brandy butter crumble. Plus, they’re great for vegetarians. If you aren’t ready for the holidays yet – don’t worry. These pies are suitable for home freezing up to three months.
Want one? Of course, you do. Wilf is due to be back on QVC (at 9am, 4pm, 6pm and 10pm!) on the 9th of October, so get ready to reserve your new Christmas staple. And, if you’d rather wait, we’re aiming to have the pies for sale in our own online store later this October!
